THE second Cork Comic Expo took place in Mahon Point.

Organised by Will Sliney, known for his work on Marvel’s Fearless Defenders series, the event saw a host of high-profile artists offering hints and tips and advice to young comic creators.

They includes Cork’s Chris O’Halloran, known for his work as a colourist for Marvel’s Spiderman, Deadpool, Avengers, and Black Panther, lines; Ellie Wright, the award-winning colourist who works on Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, and Dublin’s Triona Farrell, who works on Adventure Time and Doctor Who.

Also there will be Wexford’s Nick Roche a comic book artist who has worked on (Spider-Man, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Monster Motors) and Belfast’s artist PJ Holden, known for his work on (James Bond).
