Picture gallery: Vampire Swim a howl!

What a chiller!

While those hardy souls who took part in the Myrtleville Swimmers Vampire Swim will tell you that the water was balmy, for us mere mortals it was agonising.

The sight of these creatures from the Myrtleville lagoon was enough to send chills down the spine, as the eerie silence of Myrtleville was broken when blood-curdling screams greeted the arrival of the swimmers.

It was a boo-tiful day for the swim and the spooky sight certainly turned a few heads!

But it was all frightfully good fun, with the Myrtlevillains taking on the Vampire Swim to promote blood donations and to raise funds for Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre Program and Cork Lions Club.
